Abstract submission

We are looking forward to receiving your abstract. Based your your submissions, the scientific board will select posters and select lectures from the submitted abstracts following their scientific excellence, limits of presentation times and your preference ticked on the abstract submission form. Therefore, please select your preferred session number in the abstract form. For sessions and topics, please click "Program" in the side toolbar.

All abstracts shall be submitted in electronic form via email to sourdough@foodscience.ws by using the

abstract submission form.

Submissions by post or fax can not be accepted. All abstracts will be printed in the abstract book included in the symposium package. As the program grows we will include abstracts of the contributions here in pdf format accessible for the registered participants.

All deadlines are summarized in the "Invitation" page. For registration please select "Registration" from the side toolbar.

Posters

We will establish a joint poster session with ample time for the discussion of your results. As a rule, posters shall be 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.

Selected lectures

All oral presentations (invited, spotlight and selected ones) MUST be MS Power Point format. Presenters are kindly requested to contact the registration desk upon arrival and have their presentations checked and installed on a local computer to enable smooth sessions.

Proceedings

Full papers of selected contributions (invited and spotlight lectures)will be published in a special issue of "Food Microbiology". These conference proceedings shall be included in the symposium package. All papers submitted must strictly follow the format required for this journal. They shall be submitted online via a special track for the symposium issue. Information on this is directly provided to the corresponding authors of these papers. Do not submit these through the general online port of the jounal. All participants are encouraged to also submit full original papers to be included in the special issue of the congress proceedings. If you intend to submit a full original paper, this needs special notice upon abstract submission to us (see abstract form) - a regular refereeing process applies, and the strict deadline of submission must be respected to ensure a printed issue at the time of the symposium.
